'Round-the-World' blog

We (Moe and Irene) are starting our 'round-the-world' blog now, practicing  before leaving the U.S!

Join us on this adventure! Photos galore of the places we visit and a few words, too. All the beauty and none of the airport groping and griping.

You can also post comments in the "add comment place" below. We want your travel tips and quips, such as:
  •  “When you come to a fork in the road….take it” – Yogi Berra
  • “Kilometers are shorter than miles. Save gas, take your next trip in kilometers.” – George Carli
  •           “If you’ve seen one redwood tree, you’ve seen them all.” – Ronald Reagan

From snowy Jackson to Kyoto, Japan on Feb 20th.

Countdown: 24 days

Flying to San Francisco in 24 days:

These are Haines AK bald eagles in November, lining the Chilkat River and waiting for one of their number to pull a chum salmon out of the water. The fish, once pulled to the icy shore becomes fair game for any and all eagles in the area. It's a lot like the game, King of the Mountain. Fights galore!

Makes for great watching and photography!

Anticipating great sights and photography. Stay tuned!
