A Place Called Statue Town

Along Route 6 from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap ther is a place called "statue town," or words to that effect in Cambodian. Very fine, hard sandstone is quarried nearby and town craftsmen sculpt it into statues, mostly buddhas.
