Ten Second Flowers

Wildflowers flourish in Antiyaka (Antioch), Turkey on the eastern Mediterranean coast. My only problem was that we weren't there to photograph flowers. As a result, our group moved alond pretty quickly, and I rarely had more than ten seconds to make each shot. All of these photos are hand held without macro lens or flash.

I also found several thistles . . .

 numerous "dead flowers,

and even a few leaves.
