Ásmundur Sveinsson Sculpture Museum Garden

One of the three parts of the Reykjavik Art Museum, the Asmundur Sveinsson Art Musum and Garden is located a short walk from our hotel. Asmundur Sveinsson (1893-19820) was one of the pioneers of Icelandic sculpture. Although the Museum building itself is undergoing renovation, the Garden is open and displays over thirty pieces. I photographed a few favorites for this blog post.

I couldn't pass up several of the tulips that decorate the Garden.
