Visiting the Royal Barges National Museum in Bangkok
Note to self:- Go by River (Chao Phraya)
- Arrive in style
- Don't go by land
- If accidentally forgot and went by land, then
- Ignore fighting roosters in cages
- Ignore motorcyclist met on sharp bend of path where jumping in canal only option (Ha! Ha! just kidding...)
- Maintain faith that path actually goes somewhere
- Wonder why path to ROYAL Barges National Museum is so NON-ROYAL
TURN BACK NOW
If you persevere you will arrive at the museum which houses many restored & sea-worthy barges. Some are still being used for Royal Ceremonies today.
