The Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit in Bangkok is truly spectacular. Composed of over eight tons of solid gold, it sits in a relatively small Wat (temple) with only a very small place for worshippers.
The worshippers share this small space with literally thousands of tourists.
Thera are many other features which share the beauty of the Buddha, such as this chandelier, ceiling and entryway details, door panel engraving and two panels from an antique chineses vase.
