Is the Plural of Buddha, "Buddhi"?

Pak Ou Caves

Tham Tin (lower cave) and Tham Theung (upper cave) are on the Mekong River near the mouth of the Ou river, about a two-hour boat ride upriver from Luang Prabang. They contain Buddha in many different positions, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain, and reclining (nirvana).

The lower cave has a large, jagged opening and from there one has a nice view of the river. Inside are Buddha galore.

The upper cave requires climbing up additional stone steps, some with a hefty rise to them. The entrance is large and tunnel-like. Inside it is nearly dark, even after one's eyes adjust to the dimness. The only illumination was from a few flashlights, headlamps and candles whose light barely penetrated the vast dark space.

Love the zip-off legs

The Buddha line the dark walls and alcove. Flash was used here so it doesn't look dark, but it was.

Digital cameras can photograph in near darkness. The following were taken without flash.
